Skender Çoçaj

Skender Çoçaj is a judge of the Serious Crimes Department and the Head of the General Department at the Basic Court in Prizren. Çocaj graduated in 2003 from the Faculty of Law at the University of Prishtina. He passed the bar exam in 2007, whilst he held professional practice in the District Court in Prizren from 2004 to 2005 and also worked as an assistant archivist from 2005 to 2006. From 2007 to 2008 he worked in a capacity of Volunteer Professional Associate, whereas from 2008 to 2010 he worked as an Associate at the District Court in Prizren. However, in 2010 he was appointed as a judge in the Municipal Court of Prizren where he worked until 2013. Since November 2014, he was assigned a judge in the Serious Crimes Department of the Basic Court in Prizren. In July 2016, he was appointed a member of the KJC, and in March 2018, the Chair of the KJC.
